THE WORD 'TAHNIAH'

Obviously I was selected for NS..I have no idea what to feel or how to express what I am feeling..But I am definitely giving weird responses..The first thing I did when I saw my name was............HAHAHAHAHA..Gosh..I laughed at my own name and IC..I can't believe it..The government once said that they will most probably pick the inactive people for it..I 'believed' them so I planned to take my driving lessons after SPM..Planning to work for that break to earn some money and of course to give myself a pat after suffering for a year by going some Pulau with my friends..! Now? SHATTERED DREAMS!

Basically I can do a lot without NS..

But lets see..
My positive mind says when I am there.........
1. I will be a better person
2. I will meet more friends
3. I learn to be independent
4. I lean new skills
5. Get more Vitamin D for my skin
6. I can be a tougher girl..All prepared to be a woman..

Contrary, my negative mind is constantly telling me....
1. I'll constipate there - I have lots of constipating problem (I heard that the food there is very OILY and SPICY)
2. I'll become like an Indian when I come back..it's gonna take 'forever' to be fair again
3. I can't make calls home during weekdays
4. I'm afraid I will be celebrating my birthday there..WITHOUT MY FAMILY!
5. 3 months of no TV and no Computer..
6. When other people is doing tough physical activity, I will be sitting aside watching them play due to my old knee injury..

JOY..until now, I am still quite speechless..Don't know what to feel..................................

DISHONEST DEPARTMENT

The bill came 2 weeks later than it should be..And charge us more than it was suppose to be..

They should deliver the bill on the 8th of June..Not 24th of June..!!
Malaysian memang Malaysian..Timing sooooooooooo ACCURATE..

And now, they are charging us more..Just so you know, the more electricity you use, the higher the rate will be..

Want to charge people in such cunning way?!?!?! Might as well go out and CHEAT people..

Kerajaan Selangor hari ini mengarahkan semua pejabat daerah di negeri menubuhkan jawatankuasa bertindak bagi mencegah penularan wabak Influenza A (H1N1)

Exco Kesihatan, Kemiskinan, Pekerja Ladang dan Kerajaan Prihatin, Dr. Xavier Jayakumar berkata, jawatankuasa ini yang diketuai Pengawai Daerah perlu sentiasa bersiap sedia dengan segala kemungkinan jangkitan wabak tersebut.
"Pegawai-pegawai daerah perlu mengetuai jawatankuasa tindakan ini bagi memberi kesedaran kepada orang ramai terhadap tanda-tanda awal virus ini" katanya.

Tiga kes terbaru dikesan di Selangor melibatkan pelajar sekolah iaitu SMK Seksyen 9, Shah Alam, SMK Assunta, Petaling Jaya dan SMK Damansara Utama.

Pelajar terbabit kini dikuarantin di hospital dan keadaan sekolah adalah terkawal.

Sementara rakan-rakan sekelas pelajar berkenaan turut diarahkan dikuarantin di rumah dan setakat ini belum ada lagi sekolah yang diarah tutup untuk dikuarantin.

Menurutnya, penduduk diminta mengikuti dan peka dengan setiap taklimat serta garis panduan yang dikeluarkan Jabatan Kesihatan Negeri bagi mencegah virus ini.

"Orang ramai dinasihatkan mengikuti apa yang telah dirancang oleh Jabatan Kesihatan Negeri, segala taklimat atau program yang dianjurkan harus di ikuti," jelasnya.

Beliau turut menasihatkan orang awam yang mengalami tanda-tanda jangkitan H1N1 seperti batuk, demam dan sebagainya, supaya segera membuat pemeriksaan di hospital berhampiran.

Beliau berkata, orang ramai turut dinasihatkan supaya tidak mengunjungi pesakit yang disahkan positif H1N1 untuk sementara waktu.

SWEET PROCESS

I was bored..

I was browsing through the old photo albums my parents kept in a cupboard..

As I was flipping them through, I smiled at my folly past..

I remembered how I learnt to crawl, walk and eat..

I remembered how I cried over my toys..

I remembered how I was caned when I did something naughty..

You know, I miss my childhood life now =(

When my parents were still young

Their strip of hairs were still pure black unlike now..

*ouch*

My dad and my mom came from the same 'kampung' living few houses away..My dad will sometimes receive rumours of people chasing after my mom.. Getting more "kan cheong", he realized how much he loved my mom too..And so he decided to woo her..

How lovely, in the end, he succeed..

It was worth waiting for 3 years I reckon?

He even drew faces of my mom when he was in Europe..
Thinking about her too much every day and night..
(Just so you know, last time they don't have MSN, Skype nor a things called an SMS! An oversea call will cost a fortune!)

One year later, they got married!!!!!!!!!

2 years later, they had a baby.. In year 1983, my eldest sister was born..

Chubby as usual..Still chubby now..Gosh XP

Still cute!

She's admirable because she's a very 'guai' baby who sits at one spot without making any noise..

5 years later, in 1988, my 2nd sis was born!!
Wee, another baby girl granted in this family..

But this is a 'naughtier' version..

Yet, she's a very adorable baby

But now turning into a 'lenglui' youth..

Tak ada gigi punya kakak! lol

I like her dimple though =)

Mar-Jie was the most left..and my sis from 3rd left..

They were in the baby sitter's house celebrating I-don't-know whose birthday..haha

I remember how my sis and I used to pretend as businesswomen at our kampung to fill in our boredom..Kampung no computer, no entertainment..

Sometimes we play masak-masak with an umbrella when it is raining..

Build LEGOS together..
Come to think about it,

I kinda missssssssssss my past!!!!

It was simple yet meaningful..
We had more quality time together compared to now..

Upcoming event..As you all know this coming 21st June is Fathers' Day..I actually spent my 4 long hours trying to make a card for my daddy at the same time submitting it to participate in a competition..

"Daddy, once a hero, you're always my hero!!!" =D

All that I have in mind while I was doing this was an image of my loving daddy..
When I showed this to SokYeng, she couldn't stop complimenting that my card is nice..
And I like this sentence made by her..

I remember doing cards for my parents when I was younger..
I remember doing it with my 2nd sister half of the time =)
I actually did both for my mom and dad last year..
But this year's card looked a little different..

This is a little poem I wrote in the card...

No matter how tall I've grown,

Which is having to call you, daddy!

Something I've realized recently..

I can't tolerate KIASUS!!!

So kiasu that half of the time they will only think about themselves and half of the time trying to take over you instead of pausing a little while to appreciate you..3/4 of the time keeping everything to themselves..Not forgetting, 4/4 of the time complaining about their failures..!!

Come on, move on..It's okay not to do well for now..

A TURNOVER

Everything has changed..Everything seems very impermanent..Life's so unpredictable that each time we have to face changes as we grow up..Not only physically but mentally changing..
Sometimes, people simply dowana accept the fact that things do change..One of the reason why we often hold on to it, not wanting to let go of the past..Hoping that the change will turn back to normal..Getting back to the routine and monotomy we've gone through..But that is impossible..

There is one thing that does not change forever, well, it is change itself..

I can't deny that I've been changing myself..
From a baby turning into a kid, then turning into adolescence, and finally waiting to be an adult..(that's only physically changing)
Mentally?
You can say I am able to think better and maturely now compared to before..That's one..
Two, I've been experiencing more, hence, I do learn from my mistakes to improve better..
The list goes on I reckon?

My surroundings change too!
My friends, the environment..Everything changes..

Let's begin with friends..What has changed from there?

- My hang out primary school friends are now a stranger to me..
- Amala who used to be a quiet person can now scream very well..
- JiaXin who was just a hi-bye friend is now my good friend..
- SokYeng who was a stranger is now my best bud..Turning into a very responsible person as
well =)
- Jeya, used to be very pessimistic, now has an optimistic thinking.. (keep that up gal =))
- PikWah, Mabel and Daarshawnee who used to be very shy on camera now camwhores!!
- Bernice? Still stunted as before..(but I am sure there are changes in her..haha)

Environment and Surrounding?!?! SIMPLE...
- The temperature now is HIGHER than before..
- More disasters than before..
- More pollution than before..
- More factories and cars than before..
- More materialistic people than before..
- More divorce cases than before..
- More technology than before..

THE WORLD'S CHANGING.. And all we need to do now is to adapt..Shall we?

Say.....PARENTS?! Yeah, I would say my parents are the king and queen of my world..The fact that they are getting older - the days of leaving me behind will soon arrive..I can't imagine the life I'll be going through after that..

In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: it goes on.

LOOK AT THE BRIGHT SIDE OF LIFE (Quote one and only)

Forum baru saja habis! A forum we've all been waiting for..Filled with anticipation..Who will be the next top club and yada yada..?!?! I am surprisingly glad that it is now over..The things I have gone through, all the sufferings, indeed memorable..

LIKE WHAT?

-Climbing 12 flights, 3 times.. (broke my very own record..I've never climbed that high b4)

-Having to rush during meals

-Did not take part in the major project (Effective microorgamism)

-"songkok" factory closed..

-Having the electricity like you're starring in a horror movie..

Despite the negative feedbacks I have from the forum and the rating which I would generously give 2/10, I think it was somehow ALL-RIGHT having a crazy bunch of people around you..
On the very thursday night, I went to Fion aka Dai Ka Che house to stay over..
I can't deny that her sisters are nice =)
All still young,sweet and 'fresh'.. *lol* sounds wrong in a way..I think I met them less than a year..But we behaved like a happy family..Or was I too "perasan" myself? Whatever it is, I really appreciate that relationship..
I had a pillow talk session with my daikache for hours..I guess we only slept for 45mins when we havta wake up 4.45am the next day..Again, it was all worth it..

NEWBORN!

My hammies just gave birth again! This time, gave birth to 5 little hammies..Awh, so cute..! Previously, dumb dumb mummy hammy ate one of her baby and killed another baby to death..Left ONE and it was sent over to Taiping for my little cousin to take good care of it..In the end, we had zero babies..And now, back to five extra hammies!

How cute it was to see mummy hammy carrying her babies up when her babies fell to the 1st floor (the cage consists of two levels)..

Also, the was-about-to-die fish managed to pull through for a week..My heart broke looking at the fish struggling for its life..But it was all paid off.. The fish swam happily and still swimming healthily =)

I wanna dedicate this song specially for that 6 little souls...
